IEM has developed a funding model which provides both a business community benefit (macro level) and individual organization benefit (micro level) provides tool to employers which allows direct benefit to address specific needs, and simultaneously funds the broad scale effort.
Angel Investor Levels
Gold Investor
Includes council leadership appointment and logo on all materials. Also, includes access to MTAP programs for funding organization’s incoming talentall macro effort.
Silver Investor
Includes inclusion as council member, and access to MTAP programs for funding organization’s incoming talentall macro effort
Partners
First Partner Benefits:
- Named as such and includes all benefits per investor level (gold or silver)
- 25 hours direct service per month in organization effectiveness, human capital planning, leadership development, and strategic planning, or other services pertinent to the partner ’s goals. This allows the partner to benefit directly from IEM’s business expertise, and also benefit directly from the MTAP.
- IEM will serve as a liaison between the partner and the Memphis business leaders through the MTAP, and will seek to create senior level contacts for the partner as a method for increasing the opportunities for new market players.
- IEM will serve as an external member of the senior team, and will attend senior management meetings as deemed appropriate by partner.
A “First Partner” will distinguish the investor in their industry segment in the local market---it sets the partner apart from competition as it will lead the research and needs identification, along with IEM, for this sector. It will allow a ‘first place’ position among the competition, and provide peer to peer networking opportunities with other industry leaders.
This will build upon current market presence, and will provide a second point of access into the business community through MTAP. As a Sector Council Chair, the partner will hold/lead monthly meetings to explore the needs of its sector, and provide a voice in its respective area. Partner will be listed on all MTAP marketing materials as the First Partner in the respective Sector.
In addition, First Partner leadership will serve on the Core Planning Team where s/he will represent the needs of their sector. Logo will be on Home Page of MTAP site, leadership bio will be listed under the Core Planning Team.
