IEM is proud to acknowledge the Memphis Regional Chamber as the initial partner in the Memphis Talent Acquisition Plan™, and for their dedication to making Memphis the ‘City of Choice’. The Chamber is leading the way to bring IEM’s innovative executive recruitment and retention plan to Memphis and is encouraging other leaders to do the same.

Our Mission

The Talent Acquisition Plan™ (TAP) was developed by Interim Executive Management, Inc. to help metropolitan communities build an adaptive culture that attracts and retains top talent.

Our Focus

A community’s growth and prosperity is highly dependent upon the success of its industrial base. In any community, the growth and prosperity of the companies who form that base are directly impacted by the quality of the executives and management teams they are able to attract and retain. This impact extends directly and indirectly to every sector of the community, and the citizenry as a whole.

To address these issues, IEM has developed a 14-Point Talent Acquisition Plan™ which serves as a blue print, identifying the specific steps and setting the tone for the community collaboration needed to accomplish the mission and interim milestones.

During the initial efforts in bringing this work to Memphis, Dexter Mueller, Marc Jordon, Suzanne Hamm, Randy Jelinek, Leslie Dale, Tom Schmitt, Brad Champlin, Jerry Ballard, Suzanne Dangerfield, Della Adams, Larry Henson, Kim Kent, Jim McDermid and McClain Gordon offered substantial support and insight into the local culture. We extend sincere appreciation for the personal time and effort each has so generously given.

IEM Engages Collaborative Spirit of Top Executives to Acquire,
Grow and Integrate Top Talent

“The Chamber recognizes the immense value of the work IEM is doing. Under Tamarin Lindenberg’s leadership we are now working collaboratively with IEM, and have stepped up as the first organization in Memphis to support this work financially. Because of its vital nature and potential impact on the Memphis economy, we are encouraging our members and other leaders across the community to do likewise.”

- Marc Jordon, President & CEO, Memphis Regional Chamber

"IEM gets it. They are more focused on understanding the jobs we are having problems filling. They take a different approach, so they’re actually asking the question 'Tell us your four or five hot issues? What do those look like?'"

- Jerry Ballard, Vice President of Human Resource Operations, ServiceMaster

"[Tamarin] brings that wealth of knowledge to us that no one else in Memphis has... I see IEM as the catalyst that can come in, round it up and say, 'Okay. Here’s where we’re going , here’s how we move forward.'"
